SLEEP TOUR - SEPTEMBER 2010

It's official, Sleep is going on tour this September. According to the band's myspace they will be starting a mini-tour across the U.S. shortly after their gig with The Stooges in New York on 9/3. The dates are as follows:
9/7 Philly
9/8 Brooklyn
9/9 Chicago
9/10 Austin
9/11 Portland
9/12 San Fransisco

Needless to say, I will be either at the Chicago or Austin dates. So fucking excited. I've heard that tickets for the Philly show are only 25 bucks, so hopefully the rest of the dates are a similar price.

Anhedonist Demo

Anhedonist is a new band hailing from Seattle playing music of the death/doom kind, which if you haven't figured out by now, is always a plus with this blog. As you might have guessed from the title, this is their demo; it features 3 songs each clocking in at around 10 minutes. Worth it.
