More Flag. This was came out 3 years after the band broke up in '89, but was recorded during the My War era when Kyra and Bill were still active in the group.
If you don't know who ODB is, then I don't know what the fuck to tell you. Classic 90's NYC hip hop at its finest. This is ODB's first solo album, and the second solo album released by Wu members circa '95. I'm "borrowing" the link, it work's just fine though.
Classic crust punk hailing from South Carolina, for fans of Amebix, Aus Rotten, Nausea, etc. Members went on to play in such bands as Initial State, Damad, Karst, and Guyana Punch Line. This was their first release, put out in '88.
One of the forefathers of the grindcore genre despite only having one "official" album, that being Horrified released in '89. Repulsion was also recently confirmed for this years Maryland Death Fest.
Classic 80's hardcore punk that rarely gets talked about. Hailing from the D.C. area, No Trend existed for a better part of the '80s, releasing several EP's and full lengths, this being their first LP released in '84. If you enjoy weirder hardcore in the vein of bands like Flipper, you are probably going to like this too.
Featuring Dan Kaufman and Matt Parillo of future Dystopia fame, Mindrot was a crust/doom band hailing from California existing for the better part of the '90s. This is the first thing they ever recorded, way back in the year 1990, it's weird to think that '90 was 20 years ago now. Oh well.
Doom/sludge legends NOOTHGRUSH. One of the many bands that make you wish you lived in SoCal during the '90s, along with Dystopia, Grief, Graves at Sea, etc. This is a compilation of a shit-load of 7"s they put out, released on Slap-A-Ham in 2001 after the band had already disbanded.
